Churchills - Medieval England and Normandy

Question

I have recently completed substantial research on the Churchills of the Medieval period in England and their Norman ancestors. Should anyone have an inquiry related to the surname in those historical periods, I would be pleased to attempt to assist them. Also I have a very large data base of North American Churchills.

Hi George. I believe we may possibly be very distant relatives?  I am interested in your data to check against mine, leading up to John Churchill (born between 1720 - 1730 probably), who married Agnes Pitman. They were in the Sherbourne (Sherborne/Sherbourn/Sherborn) area of Dorset. They had a son named John,  who my line stems from. This is by brick wall. So much conflicting data online,  which has gotten added to my tree,  making it an absolute mess right now! Any help at all,  would be greatly appreciated. I plan to travel to the UK in December to do some research there.

Hi ! Stephne. It is nice to hear from you. I checked my data base and I do not have any information on your John Churchill = Agnes Pitman. I have sent an inquiry to my brother in England who is more qualified than I in research of post medieval Churchill genealogy. John is most likely a descendant of Roger Churchill=Jane Peveral, but that is not much help to you at present. I shall let you know if my inquiry shows any results.
