Help figuring out Joseph McGee / McGeHee (found 3 profiles so far)

There's a back and forth going on regarding merges for the profiles of Henry McGee and Joseph Henry McGee which showed up in my family feed as I'm a McGee researcher. As far as I can tell, I don't have connections to these McGees but such things always make me curious.

In looking at it, I came across three profiles for Joseph McGee/McGehee which seem to fit the family stories being told here. There aren't any sources on the three profiles, so no real way to determine which surname was in use at the time.

I have also been researching the McGees & McGehees.  I have found that the McGee spelling came more from those immigrating from England and the McGehees were immigrating from Scotland.  That being said, I, too have found multiple LNABs for the same person.  I try to do more research to find records to document the spelling.  It is difficult because people change the spelling of the name during their lifetime.  I aslo look at the parents and children with sources to establish a pattern for the spelling.

Here is who I am researching: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McGehee-32  I noticed he is also from Georgia (like your profiles).  Wonder if they are related?
