What is the source of John Straughan's middle name?

Have never found a record or source for John Straughan having a middle name. Also Obedience Scott's first name is spelled Abedience from her tombstone.

If you put his info ancestry, it shows corbin as the middle name, and  there is also a picture of him.

There are multiple John Straughans out there, be sure you have the correct one.  Corbin is indeed the middle name of one of them.

A John Corbin Straughan is a cousin. I think various people have confused them. I've found no source that mentions Corbin. His RW records & land bounty don't list it nor the 1790 census or 'Forks of Elkhorn Church.'  To date I have over 50 variations of the spelling of Straughan which originates from Strachan.
