Early Virginia immigrant Richard Burton needs US Southern Colonies protection [closed]

Question

This profile somehow got attached to the PGM project which is how I stumbled upon it when someone recently posted a comment to it.  But he was never in New England. (We're increasingly seeing evidence that many people do not understand what New England was/is... that many people think anything this side of the Atlantic was considered "New" England during colonial times... I digress .)

I'm removing the PGM template and adding US southern colonies but I don't know how to add the US southern colonies project account to the TL/PM (and this guy really needs project management and care). Hoping to grab your attention to this so someone will.

PS is your tag Southern Colonies or US Southern Colonies? I used both since they came up.

Well heck... I can't figure out the right template language. Can someone please fix it ? Sorry. It needs to be the project box not the sticker because the profile is protected and in need of project management. Thanks. And sorry.

Found the template on his wife's page so I fixed that.  She was marked PGM, too. I removed that.  While she has the {{US Southern Colonist}} template she has no project account managing her either. And it's needed.

According to the relationship finder, this Richard Burton is my 11th great grandfather. Henrico County is about 2 hours south of me and he is in a line I planned to research this summer anyway, so I would be glad to take lead unless someone else is interested.

Yes, but the problem is Richard Burton the immigrant (b. 1596, aged 28 in 1624) cannot possibly be the Richard Burton who married Katherine Christian in 1604.

In fact, there is no real evidence as to his parents or origins from what I can see.  He needs to be detached from his wife.  Katherine Burton detached from the children. Richard Burton detached from his parents.  And then Project Protection applied.

 

Edit: and the biography re-written to point out the obvious problems with a false identification commonly found on the internet.
