Incorrect mother needs to be unlinked from children

Research reveals that the supposed mother of the children of Robert Brasseur, Huguenot immigrant to Virginia, is not "Florence Fowke" (an ELIZABETH Fowke, daughter of Chandler Fowke and Mary FOSSAKER, and granddaughter of Gerard Fowke, married Zachariah Brazier in Stafford County, Virginia, in 1759; this is almost identical to the supposed pedigree of "Florence Fowke", spurious wife of Robert Brasseur.) Harry Wright Newman, in "Mareen Duvall of Middle Plantation", gives no name for the mother of Robert Brasseur's children, and notes that Robert Brasseur's son Robert Jr was said to have married a "Florence" whose maiden surname may have been Rey. "Florence Fowke" should be unlinked as mother from the children of Robert Brasseur, as there is no evidence that she ever existed (the profile of at least one of the supposed children, Benois Brasseur, is project-protected).

All the children have been unlinked from the offending profile and put under the current Unknown profile for their father's wife.  If and when a LNAB becomes available for that woman, it will be added to the profile.

I see you've put a message on the page so that the Project can do more research.  That's good.  And, the Project has put "Uncertain" on the mother of Benjamin Brasseur.  They're probably still researching and not yet willing to unconnect the mother yet until they can add a new mother and/or place the old mother in her correct family.

There's no evidence for who his mother was (should be "unknown"), and there's no evidence that this "Florence Fowke" ever existed. Someone who never existed can't be placed in a correct family.

I don't understand how someone was able to change the information. Benois/Benjamin's father was Robert born about 1598 in France. Someone has put Benois/Benjamin born in 1620 as a brother too Robert born in 1645. and now trying too fix it is beyond confusing.
