Looking for my Jarvis immigrant line.  I have Philip Jarvis, Sr. b. about 1757 in Maryland.  Married Sarah Alguire in Baltimore in 1778.  Migrated with children to Belmont Co, OH, about 1811 or 1812.

Looking for Philip (Jarvis-3246) and Sarah's (Alguire-159) parents and siblings.

From Ireland, Scotland, England, France? How long in Colonies?

Hi Jane,

I live in southern Maryland and have known many folks named Jarvis who are from here.  I am not sure if you have seen this website but I have found it helpful for my Maryland / Virginia families.

Jane,

Added some information found to his profile hope it helps. Yes all I seeing has John Jarvis and Hannah Hill as parents. Geni has 9 actual Records for him listed. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Billie.  I'm looking for sources but don't have good proof of John H and Hannah Hill as Philip's parents.  I do not have access to Geni. . . will check it out.  I hope we are cousins!  Jane
Jane,

The part in geni you should see free look under media there Documents there on him. You just make an account and look.
