Why is this happening??

Something is very strange. whenever I try to access the profile of Henry II (Plantagenet-1267) by typing his WikiTree ID Number into the URL on the page and hit ENTER, I'm directed to Plantagenet-33. I never get to Plantagenet-1267.

This just started happening to me this afternoon. Before that, everything worked fine.

Is this happening to anyone else? Can anyone please tell me if I'm doing something wrong? Many thanks!

Thanks Robin for your notification. This whole thing was so odd. I had been using the -1267 profile during the morning today, and it appeared each time I tried to access it. Then in the afternoon, it began always redirecting me to -388.

As soon as I posted my question and you answered it, I can now can get access to 1267 nearly every time and quite easily. Now that is an odd one!

don't know why it would redirect you to -33, instead of -388 (unless you merely typoed the number)
You are right. It is -388, not -33.

Hello John

Henry II is Plantagenet-1627

With many of these royal and noble profiles there have been many merges, which is why sometimes they might take you to a different profile than the number you entered.

Thank you, John. I'll know what to look for next time.
Apparently Philip is a tenuously-reported son of Henry who is said to have died young.  What's to be done with him?
