Hi, I too have been trying to trace this Francis Waldron. I first came across mention of him in a book in Athlone (Co. Westmeath) Reference Library which tells me that he was a Justice of the Peace for Counties Roscommon and Leitrim; that he was made a 3rd SI 15/5/1848; paymaster 15/5/1848 for counties Longford and Cavan and was pensioned 31/5/1851 on the abolition of the paymasters. I'm not absolutely sure what an SI was but feel it is an Inspector of some sort. With this kind of official background, I felt that there should be a "paper trail" but so far have been unable to track anything further on the internet. I discovered this info. in 2009.

Extract from old Irish Cavan n/paper 1858." Dec.1st at his residence,Lismoyle, Co.Leitrim Francis Waldren Esq. JP, in his 44th year. He was loving, affectionate and sincere as a parent, husband, and friend...just and impartial as a magistrate and a grand juror "

I do hope this is your relation as it's a lovely item to find.
