Should maintenance categories be added to stickers? [closed]

After a hearty discussion earlier in G2G, it seems we may need to discuss the possibilty of using stickers to add maintenance categories to profiles.

See this post:

Stickers may or may not be attached to projects, which do have specific maintenance categories connected to them. In the case of a profile which falls outside specific projects, the maintenance category needs to be added manually.

Question: Should we allow the use of maintenance categories in stickers, considering their defined use is "to highlight an important fact about a person or honor an important achievement. Profile Stickers support and decorate the biography. They are not intended to serve a unique functional purpose?"

Interesting: Why would a leader open a seperate thread six minutes after she saw mine?
Louis, why is it interesting? This is the way we discuss and your post provided background for discussion.
I don't like the way you did it. I closed that thread since it served no further purpose and opened a new one and after you saw what I did , you opened this one. Why? Is something wrong with my posting?
The question got lost in the back-and-forth, as it sometimes happens. I did not see your follow-up post before I posted this, so I am sorry if I missed it.
I accept your apology. What do you think is the appropriate course of action which should be followed here?
I closed this and pointed to your post.

This is why I should not fold write a post, pause to fold laundry, then return and publish without checking.

My own answer is "no." Maintenance categories can be added manually. As defined, a sticker is not to serve a unique function. Maintenance is a function.

I agree with Natalie, Stickers should not have or be used for maintenance categories. in my opinion Stickers should only be used for profiles that fit in a project but are not manged by a project, that is what I understood they were created for.

Right. Profiles managed by the projects get Project Boxes attached.
