Give me some Kaercher ,full names, dates and where live. The basic problem will be,before 1900,few people could read, write or spell, the person

taking what they said, had too write it down, based on what he thought they

said. plus this last name is rife for miss spelling.

Better yet, what else would you like too know.Other than these census records/
Thank u for your help. I work 3-11:30 and confused! Had to back off. I can't find Henry's dad! My gggrand father. Jacob A Karcher. They were Karcher before US. Jacob and Charlotte went to Canada from France. Alsace ... Germany originally. So, Germany, France, Canada then US. What if that isn't even our last name? I'll update my tree. I was looney toons over this and ... lol
Oh u can reply on here! I push to buttons too quick! Thank you again...

Here are a couple census records you might find helpful. If you go to Family Search and type in his name a few things come up. His father looks to be Henry B Kaercher born in Canada in 1862.

"United States Census, 1940," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KQZY-VQ7 : accessed 6 June 2018), Harvey B Kaercher, Baldwin Township, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) 2-13, sheet 8B, line 54, family 158, Sixteenth Census of the United States, 1940, NARA digital publication T627. Records of the Bureau of the Census, 1790 - 2007, RG 29. Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 2012, roll 3397.

"United States Census, 1910," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MGQC-F27 : accessed 6 June 2018), Harvey B Kaercher in household of Henry B Kaercher, Penn, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) ED 254, sheet 3A, family 43, NARA microfilm publication T624 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 1982), roll 1298; FHL microfilm 1,375,311.

"Florida Death Index, 1877-1998," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VVQB-W6V : 25 December 2014), Harvey B Kaercher, 06 Oct 1979; from "Florida Death Index, 1877-1998," index, Ancestry (www.ancestry.com : 2004); citing vol. , certificate number 76809, Florida Department of Health, Office of Vital Records, Jacksonville.

Thank you so much for your help! Everything I find gives opposite birth places  for Henry's parents. Jacob A and Charlotte.. I can't find anything ... I had to back off for couple days. I kept doing same thing over and over! lol I need to go ahead and fix my tree. I realize I have to be patient. But, I just have a feeling that something isn't right here. I pulled up Henrietta and it said in household with Henry and no siblings. Seems like all I find contradicts each other.... I need to find Jacob A. Kaercher. He went from France to Canada. The name was Karcher before US. What if he changed his name to leave Germany? See? Lol

The best thing to do it add the sources you have to your already exiting profiles. This way you have a paper trail that you and other people can follow, and potential help you with.

I found Sophia you mentioned in your tags.
