Can the living US Presidents be set to Private with Public Trees?

Can some excepting to this new privacy policy be made for current and former presidents?

As I understand it, No, because GDPR.  Living people who are not WT members have to be Unlisted, regardless of how much information about them is widely available to the public outside of WT.  It's about Rules, not logic.

It's the same reason why Queen Elizabeth II is no longer the connection anchor, and she was substituted with her great great grandmother, Queen Victoria.
