Merging 2 profiles

I've been merging for some time but today I'm trying to approve a merge where the surnames are different,  so I was being  extra careful to make sure the remaining profile had the spelling of  Fulham.     The merge proposal doesn't make it  clear what the merged profile will be.   I know it's the second ID listed on the merge (when setting it up)  but that's not evident to me when trying to approve a merge someone else set up.   Does anyone know how to verify a new ID for a merge before approving it?   (I looked at the merge tutorial but it doesn't seem to match today's merge options.)

I'm trying to approve  Fullam-7  into Fulham-39

The person that completes the merge, will have the option of selecting the correct LNAB, so be sure to post a comment on both profiles, with reference to the sources for the surname, that should be selected.

Thanks for looking into this so quickly.

Soooooo,   I had assumed when the merge is set up,   ID #2 is set to be the New Profile ID  and to change it would require a new merge proposal.   Good to know it's not.     It's really only of interest to me when the profiles don't have the same surname spelling.

I might wait and see what the other profile manager wants.
