Nancy (English) Patterson merger still pending

Question

Requested merger for English-569 and English-3355 on 26 May 18, but no response from the other profile manager. Husband is  Patterson-2244. His profile is a mess with kids listed twice and as half-siblings. Any help? I really need to work in his family. Thanks!

(Input in ID space space does not recognize Patterson-2244, though I can pull him up.)

If you get no response from the other profile manager or an approval of the merge, then you will probably just need to wait the 30 days for default approval. Since both profiles are open privacy, you shouldn't have any trouble. You can then complete the merge and work to add the information.

Thanks, Shirley. How does the 30 wait work? Does it automatically happen? Do I get notified? I’ve never done this before.

The merge will be automatically approved after 30 days. You will not be notified. You can keep track of it by going to the Find tab at the top of the page and clicking on Pending Merges. You can look and see which merges you have initiated and when they were approved. Then all you have to do is a final comparison and complete the merge.
