Three days ago I was asked to thank a wikitreer for adding a profile.

I visited said profile and found that it had no name(i.e., Unlisted), an age of in 50's, no connecting person. I have seen a few others of this nature. I cannot thank someone for such a profile. Please advise.

Hi James.  You'll see boatloads of those invitations to "Thank Joe for ..." or whatever.  It's just a site feature to make it as easy as a click to express appreciation for something.  It's not necessary to take any action if you think  it's not appropriate, you can just ignore it.
