Is it possible to change the order of images shown in the right hand (image) column of a profile page?  How?

Sorry to be bearer of bad tidings, Jim, but it is not possible to change the order unless you delete all the pictures and then upload them again in the order you want them.

My personal preference is not to have them on the right column at all.  I made a free space page, where I upload all the pictures for all the profiles I work on.  Then I display them in the bio itself, at locations that are relevant.

See this profile for an example.  I did put one photo on the profile page - that was in order to use it as the "thumbnail" - for that, it has to be on the profile page.

Gaile, that is a magnificent profile. Really!!
Thank you, Pip, but that's not all my work - that is a prime example of what collaboration can do - everyone who works on it contributes what they do best - Eddie King did most of the research, he and Lynette Jester did most of the writing, and I added the eye candy.
That makes sense. (But the eye candy is really great, too!)
Awesome page. I can  easily figure out how to fit those images into the story, but how do you make a "free space" page?
Sharon, in the teensy text menu at top right of every WikiTree page, click Add, then select New Thing.  After you add the new free space page, you can easily find it on your watchlist (on that top right menu, click MyWikiTree, select watchlist, then click the Free-Space Pages tab).

If you have any questions, let me know.
Gaile, thank you so much for the prompt response. I look forward to fiddling around with this approach. Embedding images in the context of story beats a random list hands down. Hooray for helpful community!

Click the Images tab on the profile navigation bar. The sort options are at the top. It's not possible to change the order the way badges can be reorganized, unfortunately.

Bruce, that is only for how to sort the images on that page and there are limited options even there - you can't just arrange them in a specific order you want to see them.  Also, that has no effect on the way they are displayed on the profile page.  That display is ONLY in the order in which they were uploaded, with no way to change it.
I'm aware of that Gaile, and unfortunately, the Wikigurus have not seen fit to provide the means for complete control, which I find is a total drag.
