in Requests for Project Volunteers by Justin Loe G2G Rookie (230 points)

Is this affiliated with the FTDNA U106 haplogroup project? https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/u106/about

The projects housed at FTDNA are all run by volunteers. The U106 is one of the largest, with almost 4,500 members, and operated by some pretty notable genetic genealogists, including Debbie Kennett, Iain McDonald, and Charles Moore. Since the one you linked is a closed Google Group and it isn't affiliated with the large one at FTDNA, and isn't affiliated with WikiTree, I'm not certain I understand the intent.
FTDNA restricts communications by project managers. When they use the FTDNA email system they cannot mention the work of any other company. Likewise forums managed by FTDNA project managers are biased.
