Was this Samuel Knox married to Mary Taggart?

Question

My source says:

Samuel Knox was the brother of John Knox who as the father of Jane Knox who married Samuel Polk and was the father of James Knox Polk, the 11th President of the United States.

1. The Taggarts of Brown County, Indiana : before and beyond, Susan Morris McGee, pg 94

However this profile says that the name of his wife was Mary Luckie. 

Does anyone have access to the DAR file to let me know what they think?

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to ask but there are three Samuel Knox in the DAR database.   

http://services.dar.org/Public/DAR_Research/search_adb/default.cfm. One born 1747 Pennsylvania, spouse is Mary Luckie, the other born 1746 North Carolina, spouse Mary X. Anyone can access their records. There isn't a wikitree profile for Samuel Knox born 1746.
