I had a knee replacement last August, Beulah. Best thing, well one of the best, I've ever done. Advice? Listen to your physiotherapist and do every single exercise he or she sets; but try not to get ahead even when you're feeling great. No exercise equates to a waste of your surgeon's time. I have lost 53 kilograms (whatever that is in pounds) since my operation, simply be being able to walk again. No change to diet. All the best.
