Great photo, thanks for sharing it. I descend from his brother John Franklin Oakley by way of his daughter Matilda Ann Oakley, she married James William Jacobs.

What a great family photo of Hause Oakley--apparently with his wife Cordelia Ingram seated to his left, and their children behind.  I see the names hand-written in front of the sons do not seem to exactly match their first names--so perhaps these are their nicknames, or perhaps middle names. I see the two daughters in the back on the right are apparently Anna Jane and Peach Belle, left to right.

What I love most in this picture is that their expressions here are priceless!  Hause looks completely unflappable, and clearly the man of the house, while Cordelia has a rather bemused, "Go ahead... make my day" look reflected in the combination of her fierce eyes and bemused smile. The two sons and daughter Peach all look like they've just come from someone's funeral, while daughter Anna looks like she's always got mama's back.

Truly not a family to mess with! I'm sure they make much better friends than enemies.
