G2G: Looking for my birth father, Scott Butler, or his family.

Question

I was adopted in 1979. All I know of my birth father is the name Scott Butler. He lived in South Florida (Naples/Immokalee area) at least in 1978. He may have been in Pennsylvania after that around the late 90s. I've found obituaries for several Scott Butlers, so he may have passed on, but I have no idea. I have found Butler relatives through 23 and Me, so I believe Butler is correct. Please help me find myself! Anything you know would help me.

I am still looking if anyone else can help me! I know that Scott was in the military, probably the Army, and that he was living in Immokalee, FL in 1978. He is probably in his 70s or around there.

Hey Doug, thanks a ton!! That might be my bio dad, but my biomom was late 30s by then and that would make him 18. Somehow I don't thinkmy biomom would have done that! Though, to be fair, I know little of their relationship. I can't know for sure. I will ask my husband to peek around.

After careful looking at his records, this isn't the Scott Butler I am looking for. He was in Ohio, not Pennsylvania, between 97 and 2002.
