The fifth paragraph reads: "That the said Harriet now desires to take said property into her own possession, the undersigned also desires the same." Bolded words added, and replaced the questionmarks. The long "s" followed by a short "s" is often hard to decipher.

Guess we’ll never know why her father explicitly stated his son-in-law to not have access to the inheritance. The son-in-law owed him money, but so did the other son-in-law and grandsons who inherited. Each got about $100K in today’s funds.
