The Grand Army of the Republic isn't a 'real' army and doesn't get a Veterans Recognition template. Right?

But, Harmon Cook was in the Civil War, so he gets Veterans Recognition for that.

The Grand Army of the Republic was a fraternal organization of Union Civil War veterans.

Noting membership in the GAR is a worthwhile addition to someone’s biography. My great grandfather, who was a Civil War veteran, was a member.
As the last of the original GAR members past away the successor organization the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War was Congressionally authorized "SUVCW." My grandfather was a member and I am, too. There is also Daughters of the Union Veterans  of the Civil War as well, "DUVCW." as well as a women auxiliary of SUVCW.

Correct, George. In this case above, Harmon Cook has the recognition of a veteran of the Civil War. However, I think it would be cool to have a sticker for him indicating he was also a member of the GAR. I couldn’t find one searching though the projects pages.
