My grandfather and his brother born Feb 1901 in Buffalo, NY Erie county area. Rumors of the family going to Canada with the railroad for work and my g.grandfather worked as a cook. Unable to find any birth records for them. They show in the Michigan 1930's census living as boarders and Charles went by Frank. Nothing else until Florida. Married Ida Hellen (Fry) Springer in May of 41 or 42. Worked as a Sheetmetal worker in Clearwater/Largo area. Charles passed away in 43, and grandpa passed in 53. They have 2 sisters Amelia Bates and Stella Stickney. Both mentioned in my grandpa's obit. I cannot find anymore information on this side of my family.

Wow, how exciting - Cheryl, you just found a half-first cousin!!!  What a great experience - congratulations!!!

That is my father, but his first name is not Donald. It is Marshall, after his father. But thank you for the information. I did find the marriage and death certificates for my gf Carney, but nothing mentions my grandfather or his twin brother's parents. The draft registration shows my great aunt Stella as next of kin.
