Great-grandmother shows as spouse of great-grandfather but not as mother of grandmother

+5 votes
Without thinking (and still early in my WT learning period) I entered a great-grandmother as a spouse of a great-grandfather, rather than as mother to my grandmother. So now she shows up as a spouse, but not as a mother. Is there any way to attach the daughter to her mother, other than deleting the great-grandmother and starting over?

Click on the Edit tab and you'll see links for "replace/remove father," "add mother," and similar functions for editing relationships.

Thank you, Ellen. I hadn't seen where you could enter a parent by a profile designation. Learning every day.

Welcome, Emma! You went to the right place for an answer. Sometimes the help pages can be kind of overwhelming to new members.

Just poking around on profile pages or the edit tab will teach you things you can do. Ellen’s answer was spot on.
