Here are a couple of links if you want to learn how to create cemetery categories for cemeteries in the USA:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Category_Cemetery_Formatting#United_States

https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:Guidance_for_Creation_of_United_States_Cemeteries

If you need additional assistance or want someone else to create the category for you, just post a reply!

I am trying to create a cemetery listing for "Live Oak Cemetery" which is located in Sutter County, California, just outside the city limits of Live Oak.On Google map it is shown as Live Oak Cemetery District.  I have tried in vain. I have about 20 entries to make there. Would someone create this for me or issue simple detailed instructions for me. The first profile is Dickey-1182. Thank you, Jim

James,

I have set up the cemetery for you.  Take a look at  Louis George Dickey Jr. (1937 - 1955)

Also I think using the template for Find A Grave is a little easier and faster - I did not remove what you had so you can compare and decide.

What makes this one unique is that the town name for Live Oak has to be the full Live Oak, Sutter County, California.  There are many towns called live Oak in California.

I suspect that when you look at this one you will understand how to do the next one, if not just ask.

Categorization General Rules

  • Do not use special characters such as !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *,"", / and |. Quotation marks and & are often used for names in Wikipedia and at Find A Grave, neither can be used on Wikitree. The only colon in the name should be the one following "Category:". Spaces can be used (they become underscores when saved) as can commas, hyphens, and parentheses. Non-Latin alphabets are fine but still stick to characters and numbers.
