This profile gives no sources for any data, not just the birth date. The bio is annotated that the birthdate is a rough approximation. This is an odd statement considering the exact date provided. Thus a critical evaluation is not really possible.

I did not find a record for this person on Family Search.

I wonder if this date is actually a baptism date, and this person was actually baptized when a few years old. In the Presbyterian Church children were usually baptized as infants, this is not necessarily the case for other denominations.

Lydia is also on Family Tree, same birthdate, no parents, no spouse, and no sources. She was added to the system about 2 years ago, and no changes since them.

And further, having kids at age nine!!  Yep, something is amiss ... I did find the Find A Grave entries for her and her spouse and added them into the profiles ... other than that ... nada ...

Find-a-grave has her marrying 10 years later. And there is a citation (which I did not check out): [S19] William S. Hornor, This Old Monmouth of Ours (Cottonport: Polyanthos, reprint 1974), Page 251.

If correct this makes the apparent birthdate more reasonable. Is there a typo in the WikiTree bio?
