If I up load an updated GED com will i have to go through and merge all of the duplicate entries?

Trying to update content on WikiTree with a new GEDCOM is almost never appropriate. See the GEDCOM FAQ.

After importing a GEDCOM, can you update your profiles with a new GEDCOM?

Hi Mark,

Yes. Uploading a new GEDCOM will not update your existing profiles, but will instead create new, duplicate profiles. That's because automatically updating profiles runs the risk of overwriting other people's contributions to those profiles.
