This is his profile: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Light-1538

It says he was born in Maine, as is said in some census and marriage records, but I believe they meant Maine, Broome County, New York as I have DNA matches that descend from a sibling or cousin of his that were born there.

Due to my DNA matches, I know he was related to Ansel/Iansyl/Anson Light born around 1803, and Sally Ann Light Tuttle who was born around 1815. I suspect his parents might have been Isaac Light, born 1783, and Hannah Belden. But he isn't on any list of their children. I'm just at a total loss as to how to figure out his parentage.

He married Esther (surname unknown), they lived in Mount Pleasant, Westchester, NY from at least 1830 on. Children include Martha Light Ackerman, Mary Light Connor Norton, and Isaac Light (m. Mary McGuire).

I tried looking for him in the 1855 or 1865 census but didn’t see him. The image for those census has the birth county for people born in New York. Maybe you could find one of his family or neighbors  in those census.
I'll look for family members, thanks for the suggestion!

I know that he lived in Mount Pleasant in Westchester County from the 1830 census until his death before 1870. And sadly Westchester County isn't in the 1855 or 1865 census!!
Geography makes the Isaac 1802 connection to Isaac 1783 a possibility. And the 1810 census record for Isaac 1783 also supports this connection. In 1810, Isaac and Hannah were living in Fredericks, Dutchess county, with a son between 0 and 10 and a daughter between 0 and 10. The daughter was Chloe, born about 1806. The son may have been Hiram, but could also be Isaac.

Belden Light's death certificate states that he was a son of Isaac Light and Hannah Belden; he lived in Somers, Westchester county in 1860 and 1870.

Somers is only 16 miles south of Kent, Putnam county, where Isaac and Hannah lived. Mount Pleasant is only another 20 miles south of Somers.
I don't have a Chloe b.1806 listed... where is that info from?

I do see Hiram 1808.

I will have to search my dad's DNA matches to see if any of Chloe or Hiram's descendants pop up. I have seen some connections to Hannah Belden's ancestors, but it's so hard to tell since it was a rather small community at the time and my DNA connections could be via siblings or others.
Isaac J Light, born in 1847, reported in the 1900 and 1910 census that his parents were born in Maine. However, in the 1870 census, while he was still living with his mother, she clearly reported her birthplace as New York. In the 1850 census, father Isaac (born 1802) listed America as his birthplace, and in the 1860 census, father Isaac and mother Esther appear (by default) to have been born in New York. It appears that the Maine birthplace an attempt to be "different".
Check out Chloe's obituary in FindAGrave; she is clearly identified as a daughter of Isaac & Hannah Light. On 30 Jul 1825 Chloe married Elwood Barrett; after his death she married Richard Travis. She outlived Richard by nearly 50 years. Her FAG Memorial ID is 138137743

Unfortunately that's not him. That Isaac Light was born in 1834 in Virginia. My Isaac Light was already in his 30s by then and living in Mount Pleasant, NY as of the 1830 census.
