What sources prove Phebe Dudley (1754-1830), is the duaghter of Thomas Dudley and Ann (Fleming) Penn

I am still trying to prove Phebe Dudley born 12 April 1754, is the daughter of Thomas Dudley, 1717-1760 and Ann Fleming.  I have seen on internet Thomas and Ann married about 1756-1757, if so she would not be the mother of Phebe.  Have not been able to verify.  Can anyone help?

Actually, the profile already references findagrave, and, though the unsourced information the manager provided indicates Phebe's maiden name and parents, the photo - which is the only real "source" there - doesn't indicate anything other her death date and age.

Thank you for that Bruce, however the Find a Grave, as with any source should be in the Sources not the Bio which is why I missed it. It is still a valuable piece of information as it defines date and place of birth and death.

The name of the profile is Phoebe Faris, a lot of the info in the profile is Phoebe and some is Phebe, so already some confusion.

This is a difficult one and I guess one would need to subscribe to a paid database in order to find more information.

@Shaun - You're correct about the location of the findagrave reference, and where it ought to be. But, as mentioned, the headstone image only provides a married name, death date and age at death. The rest of the info is unsourced. Possibly good for hints, though.

Regarding non-pay places to look for data - there are dozens of references in the familysearch catalog for Madison Co., Kentucky - deeds, wills, probate records, vital records, etc.

Yes - I have the info from the grave site...and I know her name was Dudley before she married Michael Faris...I have all that documented .........I needed some sort of documentation that she is actually the daughter of Thomas Dudley and Ann Fleming.
