G2G: Hyphenated name reversed on siblings

Found looking for something else...

Johannes Volmers-Vogt (two profiles, merge already requested) has several siblings listed, but their surnames are reversed, Vogt-Volmers. Huh? I’m hoping for someone with better information to explain if this was a normal thing among German surnames.

Zero sources on this profile. Ususual for as much detail as there is.
