Is G2G addictive?

Question

Hi all my wonderful friends, do you think Wikitree and G2G is addictive?

I say yes, for me it is a Drug...I am hooked...I only went to bed at 2:30 in the morning last night cause I enjoyed myself so much. I just love chatting to and sharing research info with fellow Genealogist's. What is Television? I don't know cause I don't watch it. I would rather be here. Thank you all my Wiki friends for being there and making people like me feel welcome and part of the family! You all Rock!

When I was new to WT I would wake up in the middle of the night and use my smartphone to edit profiles!

Hahaaahaa, yes I do much the same, except I don't use my phone cause I will not bring it to the bedroom. However I am busy most of the night researching the family in my head, so much that I find it very difficult to sleep! Sad but true.

I was referencing drug dealers who always give you a free sample of their drug to get you hooked. Then you have to come back for more.

Absolutely Shaun G2G is addicting, it is like when I open my iPad I have trouble leaving it. As I say to my husband your dinner is on side 250 in the cook book.

I think there are so many wonderful people on wikkitree that does so much work, and also helping other wikkitreer and I find it is a pleasure to be on G2G just like you.

Like you I don’t watch much tv it run in the back but I must admit G2G win over Tv.

You really are doing so much on G2G Shaun and you are brighten up wikkitreers day

My wife didn't complain too much when I was working on genealogy BEFORE I joined Wikitree and discovered G2G. Oh, lawd, you oughta hear her now! (I love you, Honey!!)

I think I mentioned in a previous response that the thing I get more than anything else is getting to meet dedicated and knowledgeable genealogists who are serious about getting things right. I learn from them, even if they are discussing things not related to my reseach.

And then there's meeting folks who are like y'all: witty, kind, helpful, and still the same dedicated and knowledgeable genealogists who are serious about getting things right.

Now excuse me while I go save my marriage.  :-)
