Two Archibald Bollings?

Robert Kennon Bolling has two sons on his profile named Archibald.

[[Bolling-742|Archibald Bolling]]   and   [[Bolling-210|Archibald Bolling]]

One was born much earlier than the other. Did Robert lose one early and name another Archibald? Or do these two sons need to be merged? Bolling-210 is PPP, as is the father.

Yes, he had two sons by same name which was very common in those days with high infant mortality.

Ok, thanks, Maggie. I was just checking. I’ve seen this scenario before, too.

Whichever Bollings are protected (PPP) are done so to prevent people from adding/merging wrong families.

Yup, that’s why I was asking. Thanks, again, Maggie!
