We were all new and bewildered once.  Believe me, if I can learn to use this, so can you.  

There seems to be only one Christine Salopek.  You appear to have been a guest member for several years.  Since the email explaining how to become a full member might be deleted by now, I suspect you may need help from a mentor.  If you edit your original post, you should find a space for tags.  If you add "mentor" in that space, and then resave it, it might bring help a little faster.
