Who are the parents of Obedience (Turpin) Chunn?

Question

Obedience (Turpin) Chunn (abt 1761 to 1840) seems to be mixed up with an older Obedience Field Turpin who married a Col. Harris.  The dates of both are listed as 1840.  The elder one has connections to the Jefferson family, but I'm not whether or not or how this Obedience (Turpin) Chunn fits.

Obedience Jefferson Turpin was born in 1763 the daughter of Thomas Turpin III (1736-1797) and Martha Ward Gaines (1741-1781).    

She was born in Cumberland, Virginia, United States about 1763 (or 1779) and she passed away 1846 Marshall, Tennessee...   Not sure if your 1840 DOD is correct.

The reason you have Chunn there is that was her last marriage...  The middle marriage was to Lewis Adkins...
