David Robinson DOB 1815 Virginia DOD 1868. Any help finding this man?

Married Maragaret Browning in Logan’s county Virginia. His son Mathew is my Great Great Grandfather. It’s like this man dropped from the sky. Can find no inform on his Parents or where he was born. Thanks in Advanced

I thought I could help so here goes;  I found a Wilson Robinson born 11 Dec 1815, in Lewiston, Niagara Co, NY and died 7 Sep 1868 in Lewiston, Niagara Co, NY.  Find a grave memorial # is 103618613 First Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Parents are John Robinson 1777- 1848 mother is Elizabeth Bale Robinson 1779- 1863.  Go to his page on Find a grave, If you need any more help then please let me know. Thanks, Nancy
