Please review my work and make suggestions

Question

I recently tried to merge a distant Dillon relative, and have been working on creating profiles  or updating profiles for his children and grandchildren. I am running into a problem with Hannah Dillon-3336.  There are so many Hannah Dillons and far too many claim Jesse Dillon and Hannah Ruckman-83 as the her parents. 

The one I am left with has the least amount of citations in good or bad resources, but appears most likely.

I'm trying to accomplish two things. One complete Hannah's profile. The other is do a research note that prevents anyone  from having to go through this same palava of eliminating multiple husbands.  Several genealogies give her four husbands and nearly two dozen children.   

Any insights or directon is most welcome.

Hi Susan! This looks awesome, especially with the lack of source info. My one suggestion is to create profiles for the OTHER Hannah Dillons, so that you can set them as "rejected matches" and mention the common mistakes (with a link) in the bios of all of the women. This can be done to prevent confusion and to clear up which records are for which Hannah, and you can simply abandon the profiles once you are done.

That's a good idea. I have done all the research for the others. One of them is also a distant relative, perhaps they all are.

 There were a few favorite Dillon names - Hannah being one of them.

You've done a very nice job.  Just a couple of things should be changed though.  You should change the place of  birth to New Garden, Guilford, North Carolina, United States.  It is better to spell it out to avoid confusion.  

Also, it would be better if your first source were formatted better.  I don't really know what the name of the book you are referencing is.  The second source is not a valid source.  It is just Ancestry's little compilation of member tree information.  Do you have a subscription?  I could help you with a little search if you like.

Made the New Garden addition. Re-revision the Gateway to the West source. I must have deleted part of it somewhere along the line.

I included the ancestry citation as a source as it duplicates part of other Ancestry, Geni, We Relate, etc. but with Hannah having only one husband.  That's why I describe it as a jumping off point for research. The research note is only a 1/10 of what I have found, most of it is clearly the wrong Hannah.

I am thinking next step is to research the children and see if they have any credible sources naming their parents. I also want to see if Hannah and Abigail's husbands are brothers. I've looked for Quaker records, but not had any luck. All her siblings have them.

I however have one suggestion where your using [[incorrect parents]] words in brackets normally denote a category. What I might suggest is using the word Disambiguation
