That is interesting. But besides that I need to look into that because my great uncle was married to a Japanese woman before WWII and had a son. They were not allowed to enter the US. My mother met her cousin only once, in 1959, when his ship landed in Hawaii. His father was in the American Navy and he joined the Japanese Navy.
