I am trying to create a one name profile and I have done it wrong.

Question

My attempt to create a one person profile is wrong. It is now Mordahonepersonprofile. I can't find a place to edit or delete and start over. Help.

Would this happen to the be the page in question: Mordah: one name profile, or is it possibly Mordah Name Project?

It appears that you are looking to create a One Name Study. Hopefully Ros will be by to assist you shortly.

You need to add the category [[Category:One Name Studies]] at some point so it appears in the index with the other one name studies.  Since I've never done a one name study, I could be wrong about that, but it seems logical.

Thanks. I have a way to wonder into areas where "angels fear to tread." I tend to read how to do it first and then do it the way I remember it said. WRONG.

Claudia: do you remember in my other post when I said that when you 'Add New Thing', you choose 'one name study' to get all the categories right?

I have sent Trusted List requests for all the pages (I think) so I can sort this all out.

so I can merge it into the new Mordah Name Study.

Then you will need to post to

with your new Mordah Name Study URL (above), so that Sarah Heiney can create the necessary redirect so that your ONS will appear as a little button on the surname index page here
