Dorothy Rumel Miller, 9/13/1934, Mississippi. Not exact on the child's birth but I have an idea around 1930 to 1933. That is all I have. She gave him up for adoption. I hope this helps.

They are her real parents. She gave up a child for adoption.

The long term approach is to hope the adoptee or one of their offspring takes an autosomal DNA test. If you are comfortable doing so download your DNA test from Ancestry and upload it to GEDMatch and familytreedna.com so you are on multiple databases. A half sibling match is very clear. Matching their offspring would look like a first cousin perhaps, but having an unfamiliar name with that close a relationship would surely raise interest. If you upload public trees / WikiTree link on GEDMatch  with an adopted person on it and the approximate date of birth then they will at least know what has happened, even if you are no longer around.
