Hi Daniel,

My earliest known Dillman ancestor was "Henry Dillman" I believe to actually have been John Henry Dillman. First appeared in America in NW Missouri, moving later to NE KS, then SE KS where he died in 1878, and is buried. Married a documented German immigrant woman, Anna Wiskirchen. Henry was a bit slippery with his origins, claiming birth in one census in LA, and in another in MO. I believe, but cannot yet prove, he immigrated from Prussia as did his wife in the early 1850's. Still looking to cement Y DNA links that would help with that theory. No other DNA lines match our Dillman males in America that have not descended from Henry. I would love to join the name study! Thanks,

David Dillman
