Might Clan Galbraith be added as a sticker and category?

Clan Galbraith is one of the few (if not the only) Scottish clans that has no sticker. Their tartan (badge, coat of arms, history and the like, too) is identified on the Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clan_Galbraith - Note also that a Clan Galbraith Association was established in the US in 1980, (added revision to North America, later) and is affiliated with the Council of Scottish Clans and Associations https://www.clangalbraith.org/

And finally, that they are conducting a DNA project and screening for a possible Clan Chief appointee.

Thanks!

Hi Alan,   I've added the Clan Galbraith tartan to our clan tartans page.

Galbraith = Clan Tartans-161.jpg

Here's a link to our Clan Galbraith category page  https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Clan_Galbraith   Would you like to manage/develop this page?   I've added some basic info and links meantime.

Hi Maria, Let me run that past some of the folks at the Clan Galbraith site. If someone in leadership at the association is already on WikiTree, they have more access to private trees than I. My membership is pending "making room for it in my life."

Right now, I am waiting for my FTDNA to come through and to prune my Ancestry.com tree based upon those outcomes. That tree is so huge, but also I have found has some weaknesses, so I am "on hold" with even troubleshooting the image too large GEDCOM import problems that I have had.

If they don't have anyone at the CG association who is a WikiTree member, I'll definitely stand in the gap. I have some pretty deep Galbraith roots via Culbreth, paternal line, but also in my maternal line!

I love that tartan. Thanks for escalating this, I really appreciate it!

I put the question out to the CG group, will let you know.

Went ahead and add category and tag in my bio. The tartan's not showing, yet. Fann Fann | Fann-206

Hi Alan,  Thanks for above.   Hope you don't mind but I added you to the Galbraith tartan page and it should be on your profile now.    From here https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Clan_Tartans-161 you can set it as background image or primary photo if you wish.
