You tell me you cannot find a connection between my great great grandfather and myself but how can that be? As you have no profile on me I cannot see the logic of your reply! I can assure you I am his direct descendent. James Comb born 1829 in Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland , died 1894 in Ryhope, County Durham, England, was the father of  James Comb born 1857 in Port Dundas, Glasgow, Scotland, died 1935 in Easington, County Durham, England. He in turn was the father of James Comb born 1877 in Sunderland, County Durham, England, died 1930 in Ryhope, County Durham, England, who was the father of George Matthew Comb born 1910 in Ryhope, County Durham, England, died 1999 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England. George Matthew Comb was the father of my good self Peter Comb born 1947 in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire, England. So where do you get your information from?,

Hi Peter!  We are glad you joined us!

1.  Adopt the orphaned profile Comb-72 and enter the correct dates and information for your Great Grandfather. You might consider changing the privacy to Open.

2. On your own profile, consider changing your privacy to the pale yellow level.  This allows everyone to see your Family Tree tab and makes cousin connections easier.  (Look at the Profile Public View tab and the Family Tree tab to make sure you have hidden any information you want to keep private.)

3. Your James 1877-1930 and George Matthew 1910-1999 do not appear to have profiles here yet.  You should create them, from your own profile, as your father and then add your father's father. You should add Comb-72 as your grandfather's father. That will connect you back then back to Comb-15

4. Adopt any other profiles that you would like to improve (ie. Comb-14, Comb-47, Comb-42, etc.) especially if you have research sources or biography information to add.

5. To get on the trusted list of a profile that someone else manages, you should click the Request to join the Trusted List link on the page you want to join or send a private message to the Profile Manager and ask to join the trusted list.

Hope this helps!  Good luck!
