Who are the parents of Jonathan Gilbert Richardson?

Jonathan Gilbert Richardson (ll), b. 21 Nov 1697, Stonington, New London, CT; d. 22 Nov 1773, Harmony Hall, Braden, NC, and lived for many yrs. in Edgefield Dist., SC.  He married Cornelia Emerenlia (last name unknown).

He is either descended from or related to Thomas Staunton of Hartford and Stinington, and quite possibly descended from or related  to Lydia “Goody” Gilbert.

I appreciate any clues or info on him!
