The profile you've linked doesn't appear to have ever been merged.

Once a merge has been completed, Barbara, it can't be reversed. The 2 profiles are now 1 profile.

However, the data from the merged-away profile can be recovered from the Changes log if you need to reconstruct the merged-away profile.

I don't see a merge involving James' profile, but I do see one for his father Jethro. Is that the merge you want to reverse?

If you feel a bad merge was completed, let us know what was wrong with the merge so we can help you fix the problem.

Barbara,

I do not see where a merge has been completed involving James' profile.

Are you sure that you are looking at the correct profile that you thought you merged?

Cheryl, thanks for your reply.  I don't believe as a rookie I understand how this is supposed to work.
Barb, when I look at your activity feed, I do not see any merge. I do see a couple of James Hales', but they are father/son.

I am not real sure who you are trying to merge.

I understand how difficult this is. And you have several very good notes written on your profile pages.

You are doing a great job.
I'm new and may have been confused. I'm good with the info now.  I do have another request.  I see that the second husband of my 3rd GGrandmother Millie Ann Oller (Oller-98), who was Thomas Benton Jones (Jones-67312) has not been connected to her. I sent a note to the profile owner but just a few minutes ago so not enough time to get a reply. I would assume there should be a place on her profile to add him using his profile number, but I cannot locate any way to do this.  Would I assume correctly that he needs to merge Uncle Thomas (his profile) with my 3rd GG Millie Ann Oller Griffith? Or can I do this?  Sorry to have so many questions.
