This may be the Reuben Hodkinson who came to New Zealand.

Hodgkinson Reuben appears first in England 1851 census aged 7 months His mother Ann Hodgkinson is recorded as widow and daughter of head of household Josia Wragg. Josia's wife at the time of the census is not Ann's mother who may be Martha nee Hukin. Place of residence is Old Whittington Derbyshire England. A record of Josia and Martha's wedding exists as does the baptism of Martha twin daughter of Josia.  Daughter Martha's twin sister, Sarah is recorded as living with Reuben in the 1861 census. Reuben is misspelled in records with these versions: Ruben and Rhuben. He also appear in the 1871 census.
