Looking for parents of Chester Ray Wells, b.1887 Hawkins, Texas

Question

Chester born 4/7/1887, mother passed away when he was two. I do have some guesses but nothing I can prove and I need this information to correctly finish my family tree.  Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated.

Texas Death Certificate 23507       Chester Ray Wells born April 13 1887

died May 28 1987 Dallas Texas,Father listed D.K. Wells

Wayne thank you so much for the time and effort, however, this isn't my grandfather.  He definitely died in 1951, Dallas Texas.  His birth date is a little in question as being either 1887, 1888.  I know the death certificate you refer to but my grandfather isn't this man.  Thank you so much though.

I believe the DK stands for Don't Know, as his mother is listed also as DK

1951 Death Cert says birth is April 13, 1887 but parents are DK= don't know.
