Zodiac Categories

Based on extensive discussion on G2G and in the Categorization Project group, there is broad consensus that we do not need the Zodiac categories on WikiTree, and they will soon be removed.  Please do not add Zodiac categories to profiles.

The focus for inclusion of material on profiles is the individual himself or herself.  If George Notable was himself fascinated with Zodiac signs, and attributed his success in battle to his nature as a Scorpio, by all means include that in the biography!  If you yourself believe that signs of the zodiac make a difference in peoples' behavior and success, you are not alone, there are others who believe the same thing.  This is one reason we have free-space profiles -- you can write up your own research demonstrating that Pisces like myself tend to be wordy and confusing -- fishy, as it were -- but at least we're not crabby like the Cancers.....

Or undecided, like Gemini.  Is this a good thing?frown

The sign I was born under was "No Smoking: Oxygen in Use", but for some reason, that never shows up on the horoscope page in the newspapers.
That sounds like the "Anti-Cancer" sign to me!
Thank  you Greg, I'd like to give you "best comment"
LOL Greg Slade, That is not only a best comment but it should be the best comment of the year!

Hmm, maybe my fascination with tree climbing stems from being a Capricorn?  Goats do climb up mountains a lot.  And I always liked to climb real trees as a kid.  Now, well, guess one can say I still climb trees.  cheekylaughenlightened

Hey, I'm not that crabby! (Somewhat, though, as I age. GET OFF MY LAWN!)

Being Aquarius I'm something of an enigma.

Has anyone noticed? :-)

And as a Sagittarius, I am the least outdoorsy extrovert there is. laugh

I'm not hard headed either but on the farm we had some sheep and I used to win head butting contests. Even though they cheated with horns. Is that a sign????

Oh, that’s a sign alright!

Oh, thank you! Putting a Gemini on my profile will give away the fact that I can’t focus on one thing at a time or complete one task before beginning another. (Oops! Did I just say that?!)

Say what? my head is still ringing from butting heads. cheeky

That is multi-tasking, and that is something I excel at.

This made me totally SMILE!   I see the world that way, I will often remember a persons Starsign (meaning the Sun sign) long after I've forgotten their name.  Lol.   But I also know that some times when I say things such as, probably a controlling Saggi, or an intense Scorpio or a wise Pisces ... I often get these one eyebrow raised looks.  LOL.

Personally I would have ZODIAC would be the tag if the person was an avid follower/believer/consulter of the stars.

Big Like to your Comment.
