How do I add source later?

I just joined Wikitree.  Added profiles on siblings, parents, grandparents that are first hand knowledge. Checked the add source later box. How do I add the source correctly later.  I have tried editing in source but still lists them as unsourced?

Hello, Rex! Welcome to WikiTree!

When you create an unsourced profile, a template ( {{Unsourced}} ) is added to the Text box. The result is a banner that lets us know the profile has no source documentation.

When you add source citations to the profile, you can remove the (bold) text for that template. Removing the template removes the banner.

edit: added bold format to some text

Hi Rex, welcome aboard.  Here's the section in the help file about adding sources:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources

First hand knowledge is OK for close relatives like siblings and parents, but you should add official records for events like birth, marriage, death when you can find them.  When you add any source, you'll need to just manually delete the {{unsourced}} template to get rid of that flag on the profile.
