I wanted to share this farm map with   James Willingham with the community. Location: Hebbardsville, Kentucky . Date: unknown.

Now thats a great map. I have seen a few like this with folks’ homesteads identified with the name of the owners. Couldn’t see a date, unless I was looking in the wrong place. Do you know when this map was created, Kenneth?

These kinds of maps are great for identifying who lived where, especially when folks starting marrying in the neighborhood.

The map I posted is 1880.  It came from (farm map hebbardsville, ky)  Hebbardsville Precinct No. 6, Bluff City, Masons Ferry, Curdsville.

Full Atlas Title:  Henderson and Union Counties 1880

I must have copied this map at the Henderson County Public Library or at Willard Library, Evansville, Indiana.  I still have a map from an engineer's office, downtown Henderson, Kentucky somewhere here.  But the 1880 date should assist anyone trying to place the residents of this time frame.
