Pending merge between two PPP profiles

There is not a whole lot of information, but the two profiles have the same name and same birth date. One has a husband and children; the other has parents and siblings. Both profiles protected by the New Netherlands Settlers project.

(Merge default-approved since March 3).

Thanks!

not in Kingston Baptisms...
The profiles indicate that she was baptized in New York (i.e., Manhattan) or else in Schraalenburg (New Jersey), not Kingston. Unfortunately, none of the various people who documented her baptism seems to have bothered to mention how her father's name was recorded in the profile. That's the information we need to determine her LNAB.

apparently I was looking up two things at once again - really have to quit attempting multitasking!

OK here:

New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church Baptisms 1740-1744

1708 Oct 27; Abram Van Deurse, Lucretia Bogardus; Anneke; Everardus Bogardus, Catharina Tiele wid

so now looking if we have any profiles with that spelling to merge into
Nope no Anneke Deurse profiles so we will have to edit the LNAB for one or the other of the profiles the 157 one is better sourced
Thanks for finding that, Navarro. I guess you may have found it at http://brooklynancestry.com/new-amsterdam-reformed-dutch-church-baptisms-1703-1708/ -- a site where a professional genealogist seems to have been publishing electronic copies of the published transcriptions of a lot of records from early New York. The transcriptions look like they are probably good (the original publication's insistence on capitalizing "Van" notwithstanding), but the website doesn't say where the transcriptions came from, and I've not yet compared them with the original publications by the Holland Society of New York, etc. Were you able to track this one down to the original publication?

I'll change the LNAB on one profile to van Deurse and modify the PPP so the merge can happen... But someone needs to add the full record citation to the profile.
not yet, and sorry that font is so big - certainly did not expect to come back to this Q&A and find that big thing, lol no I was looking and then had to go to bed for work - hope this weekend to chase down a few sources for a few things and this is on my list!

And found it - screwy day but now I got this done!

Well this is not directly sourced, but there are quite a few sources that look as if they might pan out, was unable to find that baptism record right off, but you need that coppied word for word for the LNAB - see the New Netherland Project page for how these merges go

here is one batch of info

sorry I can not be more helpful, teenager being a pain this afternoon

Thanks Navarro :)

For all NNS profiles indeed first we need to find and add sources / (Church) records and with those the LNAB is determined and going to be corrected before the merge, if this wasn't done already. So one or both profiles will often have the category  needs LNAB added.

The LNAB is going to be the one from the earliest record that shows the LNAB of  person.
